Welcome to MONTEREY!

WELL... we made the move! A BIG thank you to my parents for helping me get here in a u-haul towing our SUV! I couldn't have done it without them... not even joking... I drove a total of about 30 whole mins of the entire drive, and they drove the rest! I was so nervous to drive that thing. Not to mention, trying to drive down the VERY small streets in Monterey with cars parked on both sides!
It was great to meet back up with Justin! My parents and us had a really great weekend together and spent time around town. We saw the fisherman's wharf, pebble beach golf course, the rocky beaches, and much more!
So far, living in Monterey has been great! The weather is colder than we expected, but still not too cold. There is usually some fog somewhere everyday. Justin is doing well at school, he is overwhelmed, but working hard. I have begun looking for a part-time job... wish me well!
Monterey is beautiful! I would call it a mix of many places; it's a quaint coastal city, with the steep hills of San Francisco, neighborhoods & streets like the Avenues of Salt Lake, all mixed with the tourism and the look & feel of downtown Park City.
